Emotional & Kinaesthetic Intelligence is important for improving overall health and fitness. Being able to recognise how you are feeling at any given time can make a huge difference in results. Emotional intelligence (EQ) relates to mood, while kinaesthetic intelligence (KQ) reflects your ability to sense the body and its movement in space (proprioception) and being able to feel and discern sensations within the body (interoception). Having functional EQ & KQ can be the difference between suffering serious debilitating injury through over-ambition/ poor technique and a rewarding, fulfilling and enjoyable longevity of practice.
